Hello! My name is Aidan Place and I am an eighteen year old birder mainly based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have been birding for as long as I can remember and enjoy it more than anything else.
Though I have always been interested in wildlife, I first got interested in particularly birds when I had a very close encounter with a hooded warbler on my family’s farm in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Since that point, I have been heavily birding all across the US and abroad. To this date, I have birded in 19 states, 1 province, and 6 total countries.
I am also interested in wildlife (mostly bird) photography. My favorite bird is the American crow but I also like any kind of duck, black-throated green or blackburnian warblers, and upland sandpipers.

My Xeno-Canto page with my bird recordings is here: http://www.xeno-canto.org/contributor/EPXMBJVSYK .
I also am a writer for the American Birding Associations young birder blog called the Eyrie. That can be found here: http://youngbirders.aba.org
I hope you all enjoy!
